Legal
Effective date: 2026-10-25. Last updated: 2026-10-25 (version 5, platform terms version qardon-com-platform-terms-v1-2026-10-20; only §2 changed: the sentence about tax status is taken out). Earlier versions are kept, marked retired, at /legal/terms-v4, /legal/terms-v3, /legal/terms-v2 and /legal/terms-v1; the prices named in version 1 no longer apply — qardon.com is free.
These Terms govern your use of qardon.com and the public-facing materials we publish on it. By accessing the site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Use of any commercial services provided by Qardon.com is governed by a separate written agreement.
Qardon.com is a technology of Fotoh, Inc. ("Fotoh," "we," "us"), a California for-profit stock corporation. Fotoh, Inc. builds and operates the software platform behind qardon.com, the public marketplace where every listing is one price, paid now or monthly. qardon.org is another technology of the same company — the endowment registry, which records each person’s endowment in that person’s own account and neither holds nor owns it — not a separate entity. To set aside an endowment or to file a Recovery claim, visit qardon.org.
Use of this site does not create a giving, lending, or borrowing relationship with Qardon.com. We do not solicit contributions or accept loan applications on this site. Any solicitation that purports to do so is not authorized by Qardon.com.
For sellers. qardon.com is a technology platform. The seller is the seller and the creditor: he sells, writes his contract with our system, and executes the sale. His customers’ payments are collected into his own payment account, opened in his own name, and never into a Fotoh account. Fotoh charges him nothing (see 3B). Each seller is responsible for his own licences and legal duties. Fotoh does not count or report his sales for any government purpose. The full seller terms are at /legal/seller-terms.
For buyers. The seller is the party you buy from and the one you pay; your payments go to the seller’s own account. There is one price, whether you pay now or monthly. Nothing is added for paying over time, and there are no late charges, ever.
qardon.com is free for you: buyers, sellers and dealers pay qardon.com nothing. To keep the platform running, its actual running costs, multiplied by a set profit factor, are paid from the earnings of the endowments that people place through the platform: never added to any price, never a percentage of a sale, and never taken from an endowment itself. This is a condition of using qardon.com, not a choice: by opening an account you accept it, and without accepting it an account cannot be opened. If you place an endowment, this condition becomes one of the conditions of your endowment. qardon.com is a tool in the hands of whoever manages an endowment: it is not the manager of anyone’s endowment, it is not a charity, and it takes no part in your transactions or in the profit of your business.
Your acceptance is recorded with the date and the version of these words when you open your account.
