When Karam opens and a senior has chosen a path for her own home, that home appears in this space — and not one day before. The marketplace does not decide this; she does.

Keep the home, with the title never changing hands. Sell it interest-free to a buyer who pays a fixed price over time. Or rent it. The choice is designed to be hers alone, and whichever she chose is the only path her home would ever appear here on. No path is open, so no choice has been made by anyone.
Not a fee, not a deduction, not ever — and her care is never priced to what her home is worth. Karam is also designed to help her claim the benefits she has already earned and is not receiving. That is the design; no care has been arranged for anyone, and no benefit has been claimed on anyone’s behalf.
The agreement is designed to register her right to remain in her home for life. That instrument is the one still with counsel, so it is not a legal right anyone holds today. No caregiver is assigned to anyone, no safeguarding check is running, and nothing here should be read as a promise about a house.
